You know why I like writing?
Contrary to popular belief, it writes back. You find out things in your mind that you’ve never introduced yourself to before. Or you finally hold the hand of a memory. Crying with a fear allows you to say goodbye to it. Smiling with elation leaves an open door for it to come around again. So many things that you can’t just simply say. So you write. And write. And write some more....

New York City is going to have a most interesting Monday morning. I imagine it’s going to feel like catching their breath after ten years of weak oxygen.
Something a little like that. But to be honest, like im sure most new yorkers feel right now, I am more afraid then ever.
